STUDY-2 ‘maketh fire come down from heaven’ [two] WRATH / FIRE – DEFINITIONS…
NOTE: There are many verses in the Christian Holy Bible of God that show, describe, and enlighten to, the meanings and purposes of God towards the inhabitants of Earth. The term / phrase ‘fire from Heaven’ is manifold – or having several meanings therein. One, …the Holy Spirit of God himself is the fire itself, of the which all fire of God is. Fire from Heaven upon Sodom and Gomorrah (previous lesson) is, by cause, wrath – displeasure – punishment from God against sinners, as the miracles and wonders of God ~ ‘fire and brimstone’ . Fire of/as the Holy Spirit is as His Holiness – as a ‘shroud’ – a ‘veil’ , as the faceless Image of God – His Presence, …of the which is written, no man has seen the face of God and lived. Ahead some selected verses that describe the several of ‘fire’ and wrath.
